The principles behind Organic Winemaking
The Maori principle of kaitiaki – caring for people and place – has inspired our approach to Organic winemaking for decades now. For example, our Headwaters vineyard in Marlborough is one of the biggest organic vineyards in New Zealand, and we’re in the process of converting two more.
Today we offer 6 organic wines, and are significantly increasing our organic production.

Our approach with vegan wines is threefold; there is no change in wine quality when made with vegan processes, similarly our current commitment to sustainability and organic winemaking has a strong overlap with vegan grape growing and winemaking.
