Hawke's Bay Syrah
Tasting Notes
Sweet dark fruits, Doris plum and grape aromas, with complex leather cedar notes. Peppery also.
Viscous entry with abundant fruit - plums, cherry and raspberry. Notes of olive and vanilla and a sweet spicy finish that lingers. Varietal, weighty and rich.

Winemaker Notes
A blend of Syrah clones from our Bridge Pa Triangle and Gimblett Gravels vineyards were fermented in tank. The cap was worked gently during ferment. After 12 month with oak the wine was fined and bottled.
Food Pairing
This Hawke's Bay Syrah makes an ideal partner to strongly flavoured foods such as balsamic marinated steak or an antipasto platter of salami, artichokes, olives and sundried tomatoes.
