Marlborough Riesling
Tasting Notes
Pretty florals aromas with mandarin, lime and apple. A touch of honey and slate also.
Smooth and juicy entry - flavours of apple and mandarin tie in with the nose. The finish introduce further complexity with tarragon and chervil, a little dried apricot and lingering minerality.

Winemaker Notes
Not achieving our usual level of botrytis (Noble Rot) in the vineyard we decided to pursue an elegant pure varietal style of wine. Fruits was crushed and pressed on arrival and fermented with a variety of yeast species at reasonable warm temperature (18C). After six months on lees the wine was fined and stabilised.
Food Pairing
An excellent partner to a wide range of foods, ideal with Asian dishes, or try it with mussel and kumara patties, drizzled with home-made lime-spiked mayonnaise.
