Grabbing a cooler slice of the Marlborough hot spot
Everyone knows Marlborough is internationally recognised as a premium wine region, largely due to the combination of its climate and unique landscape.
This international acclaim has led to the region quickly running out of vineyards, so Babich purchased Pennarth Farm to ensure we could keep maximising the magic of this area. Pennarth is in the Wairau Village on the way to the west coast and offers us a cooler part of Marlborough, which may become useful if global temperatures increase. It’s 80 hectares and will be developed to 60 canopy hectares of beautiful Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
