New Zealand's famous for wine, but not when Peter started

When Peter Babich first started to help his Dad develop the local wine industry, wine wasn’t one of the first things that came to mind when people thought of New Zealand.

Luckily this has changed over the last 70 years, but that didn’t come without a lot of hard work. Peter estimates that for 38 years he spent one day a week working with the New Zealand Wine Institute to develop the industry, and create a platform for its growth. That’s roughly 1,900 hours. So it’s nice to know that all that hard work paid off.
