We’ve been making wine in New Zealand for three generations. Our dedication, craft and hard work have carried our family winery from poverty to the world’s wine stage. Always in pursuit of excellence, our award-winning wines are proof that experience truly is everything.
It’s been a unique and challenging journey, but the wine business that began 102 years ago with our founder Josip Babich’s first vintage is now a highly respected supplier to restaurants and wine merchants around the globe, from Bulgaria to Bali to the USA.
Proudly family owned, we produce an exceptional New Zealand Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc range. And that’s just part of our portfolio. We would love to share the full taste of our experience with you.

Our ethos is founded on planting the right grape varieties on superior sites in the right wine producing regions. We have 13 vineyards across three of New Zealand’s best regions as well as two dedicated wineries. And we are always searching for the next improvement in the way we grow and produce; experience has taught us to never rest on our laurels.
Every generation of the Babich family has brought a passion for innovation and exploration to the business. As our wine travels further and further across the world, reaching more and more wine lovers who appreciate what we produce, we are increasingly excited about the road ahead.
